Commission form!

You wanna get some artwork from me?
Well; It’s closed at the moment!

How does this work?

I’m technically always open for commissions, but I can only work on them during the weekends or any other time I have off from work. You can always send in an order, but it’s not guaranteed that I’ll be working on it right away. I tend to give myself a deadline of around a month when it comes to this.

Pricing

It starts at 50 EUR.
More smooth shading with additional stylizing and lighting effects adds 15 EUR to the price.
Additional characters add 25 EUR to the price.
Increased complexity in the scene can have an additional added charge based off a percentage of the total price, normally around +10% to +40% depending on levels of detail or complexity.
The same applies in it’s own right to character designs. If your character has a rather intricate design with lots of details or a busy color palette, the price will be increased based off a percentage.

The baseline starting price is based off a colored and simply cel-shaded commission involving one single character of relatively simple design, simple pose or action, and either non-existant, simple or abstract background.

I will be quoting you the price before I’ve even started, so there will be no unpleasant surprises and you get a chance to discuss things with me or make some adjustments to your order. At the point of payment, neither me or the client will be able to raise or lower the price to any extent. Furthermore, at this point, there’s no possibility of refunds.

Tips are an option, but by NO MEANS a necessity.

The Process explained;

  • I try to check the form daily, but it's always nice with a note on either site I'm on that you've sent in a form to me!

  • As soon as I'm aware of your form, I’ll have it added to my Trello Workspace so you can see what I’m up to. I will let you know when I start on your commission.

  • I'll sketch a pose up and show you for approval, then I sketch in the important details.
    Please note: THIS is the point where it's the most important that you notify me about any mid to major changes you'd like in the image, since this is gonna be much harder to achieve after I've started inking.

  • When the entire sketch proof is approved and I'm cleared to move on to inking, that's when I'll send you the invoice.

  • At this point, I'll still continue sending you updates of how it's looking.

  • One the image is deemed at the late stage, with all the elements in place, I'll give both me and my client some time to think and "mentally feel" the image for a bit to come up with anything that could be different, mainly in terms of coloring or formatting. No moderate to major changes can be done at this point.

When the commission is completed, I'll send you a completion pack consisting of the following;

  • A web optimized version of the image usually around 1200p to 1600p.

  • A high res version, normally 50-70% of the project size. Normally 7000p. Good for cropping!

  • A complete PSD of the project. This contains everything from rulers to sketch layers to lines to colors to shades and even adjustment layers and it’s masks.

  • An avatar. 'Cuz why not.

I have some terms you have to agree to;

  • I reserve the right to deny any kind of assignment if I don't feel like I'd be up for the task, it's something I'm just not comfortable drawing, or if you didn’t read my terms. Trust me, I’ll know. But hey! I like a challenge, so please suggest things to me, but some things are off even my plate.

  • That the entire form HAS to be filled out, I do not accept any of these form entries over any other medium than through the form itself. Failure to fill out the full form will result in immediate rejection, and I'll simply ask you to fill it out again.

  • You're paying for the work done, not for the time taken. While the complexity of the character might make it take longer, any increase of price as a result of this is NOT for the time it'll take, but for the added difficulty of the work you're putting on me. I do not do rush orders.

  • Please ONLY commission me if you actually have the money DISPOSABLE for this. As in, you might not need that money for something else later. Remember, even if we agree on a price relatively quick, I might not get started right away. The moment I’m ready to get started and you do NOT have that money available, your commission will be put on indefinite hold until you have the funds again. (Yeah, times can be tough, trust me, that’s why I started drawing in the first place. But first and foremost, art’s a luxury, not a necessity.)
